Let's make it easy.
From Barrington St. ride the No. 9 MetroTransit bus to Point A Park
Entrance
This park has some major paved trails but lots of wood chip trails
which criss-cross multiple times. You could easily get lost, so take the time to print the "Dog Leashing" map at
this site:
Near the intersection of Cambridge Drive and Maple Road, find Tour
Site 5/Cambridge Battery. Follow the gravel trail into the battery area. Keeping the battery structure on your right, make
your way to the woodchip trail to the northeast. Before you set out on the trail, locate the end of the battery's last concrete
wall sloping to the ground. From the end of this wall, proceed 50 steps on the woodchip trail. Stop and look to the left for
a triple-trunk tree. See what you can catch behind the tree at its base.
This is a black pouch.
Please re-double bag contents and re-seal and tuck flap securely
to keep it all dry.
Thanks to Catface and Boxhound who so kindly found a new location and sent me clues for the pouch. The prior One-Eyed
Stump seems to have wasted away to a toothpick!
